General Overview:
The goal of the POC for Schneider Electric USA is to oversee all Spare Part PO’s issued by Google from start to finish while being the customers trusted advisor. The SE USA POC must oversee the overall service execution of each order and to provide support to other SE entities in all matters of escalation. We are the customers single point of contact for any Google Spare Parts service-related issues both domestically and globally.
Pre-Sales and Sales Support:
- Participate in Request For Quote exercises
- Provide data sheets and country of origin information for parts
- Provide shipment updates on PO’s
- Work with Global teams to source globally manufactured parts.
Service Execution:
- Bi-weekly calls with Google/Olsson to assist with spare part requests, drawing/BOM requests
- Assist services with pricing system wide designs (Foxbat, gCUB, Perun, Oberlin)
- Weekly calls with Google to go over ASN submissions, order statuses and delays
Point of Escalation and Issue Resolution for:
- Parts orders that impact site milestone dates
- Global Spare Part Order Issues
- Issues with SE entities communication
- Missing ASN’s and commit dates
Order Management:
- Accept and convert PO’s withing 24 hours of being issued
- Communicate estimated ship dates to Google team via E2Open
- Create ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice) once Orders are shipped to ensure warehouse can accept the shipment
- Identify and report potential delays and parts backorders
- Submit Invoice for Google Spare Part orders through Ariba
- Escalate Invoice non payments to Google
