The Terrain Park Team Lead will assist the Terrain Park Manager in the overall delivery of the Terrain Park experience for our employees and guests. This individual is responsible for the supervision, training, scheduling, and motivation of the team. The terrain park Team Lead will perform a daily risk management assessment of terrain park venue including the design/construction and layout of features as well as placement and integrity of all animation and signage. The terrain park team lead will ensure and regulate the effective testing of features, monitor daily maintenance, and assure frequency in terrain park attendant’s guest interactions. The terrain park team lead will complete daily logs and attend mountain operations and related grooming specific planning meetings. The Team Lead will be responsible for implementing park crew safety and other training programs. The Terrain Park Team Lead will assist in carrying out all guest service, operational, and financial goals and objectives set forth by the Terrain Park Manager, the Terrain Park Best Practices group, and our Senior Leadership.

Job Responsibilities
- Training/coaching/supervising/leading of Terrain Park Day Crew
- Organize and conduct weekly safety meetings as well as document case specific Equipment and PPE Trainings
- Lead Day Staff and Groomers efficiently through the Daily opening and closing of Terrain Parks
- Performs a daily assessment of risk, feature inspections, maintenance and testing of all features
- Directs leads and attendants to complete projects and general maintenance in an efficient and carefully planned manner
- Assist Terrain Park Manager in Design and Construction Planning
- Assist Ski Patrol on accident investigations
- Hiring, firing and Scheduling of all Terrain Park Attendants
- Act as liaison between Day and Night Operations, as well as coordinating with Senior Leadership and other Department Managers
- Assist in the development of nightly grooming plans for Terrain Parks and Ski School/Burton Academy
- Responsible for park operations/decision making when manager is unavailable
- Act as role model regarding employee development and guest service related initiatives
- Assist in all trainings for Day Staff including daily objectives and other projects
- Ongoing development of standard operating procedures in the Terrain Park
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years terrain park experience
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Must have a valid drivers
- Must ski or ride at a Level 8 or above
- Must have own ski or ride equipment
The budgeted range starts at $23 - $25. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
