EXPLEO USA is looking for a Test Driver to join a dynamic and growing automotive team in Detroit, MI US.

You will help us test and improve the performance of customers cars. You will tackle hard problems that have immediate and valuable real-world applications. You should have strong attention to detail, basic technical skills, and an excellent driving record. Integrity, good judgment, and the ability to work in a team environment are required at all times. You will be expected to keep certain project details confidential.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Work in teams, alternating (i) driving and (ii) logging responsibilities and providing verbal feedback/directions about the environment
• Complete timely and detailed ride reports for our operations and engineering teams
• To drive safely and/or spend time sitting in a car for 6-8 hours/day
• To give and receive clear, prompt, understandable verbal and written communication
• To accurately type and read on a laptop in a moving vehicle
• To safely operate the vehicle in accordance with Zoox safety protocols and applicable law. This includes, but is not limited to, having a sufficient range of motion to turn a steering wheel, safely operating the accelerator and brake, checking blind spots, and evaluating the environment, and maintaining appropriate air bag clearance

• Working from Friday to Monday ( 4 Day / 32hrs ) / 1 one day Shift 1 in evening Shift
• Potential for weekend shift work
• Multiple shift times available
• May required to work nights and/or weekends

Qualifications:

• 
  Speak and read English satisfactorily (Converse with the general public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to officials’ questions, make legible entries on reports and records…)
• Clean Drivers' Record - 6+ years with a US drivers' license, have only one valid commercial motor vehicle operator’s license issued by one State or jurisdiction.
• Provide a signed statement that the driver has not been convicted of any motor vehicle violations during the past 12 months
• Be autonomous; able to follow requirements
• Ability to work effectively and professionally in a stressful environment, including interactions with the public
• Ability to remain alert and extremely focused for two-hour uninterrupted blocks of time
