Do you want to combine your love of Thunder basketball with community outreach and events? Join our Mobile Experience team and take part in producing and implementing events across the state of Oklahoma and other parts of the region! The mobile experience program is an integral part of our overall marketing and community engagement initiative and incorporates the use of the OG&E Thunder Bolt and other assets to craft an interactive experience for fans. As an associate, you will be responsible for engaging with fans directly and help with setup and logistics at events such as fairs and festivals. The program is crafted to be a positive outreach to fans throughout the region that do not have a consistent opportunity to experience our brand in-arena.


In this role you will:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Events & Entertainment Department including coordinating and tracking event collateral, loading signage and giveaway items, installing event signage, and cleaning storage areas
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the organization at various events locally and around the region, working directly with fans to improve the experience with interactive displays
  • Assist in setting up the Thunder Bolt mobile display, implementing various event activations during each appearance, and cleaning the mobile display before and after events
  • Travel to all local and regional Thunder Bolt appearances
  • Occasionally assist with setting up outdoor pregame activations at Thunder home games
  • Be knowledgeable on specific basketball player memorabilia and facts


What you'll bring to the role:

  • Ability to handle numerous tasks at a time and perform under tight time schedules with reliability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation allowing you to interact confidently with people of all demographics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding attention to detail and listening skills
  • Problem solving and creative skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations to accomplish tasks
  • Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Outdoor work and event setup in various types of weather and temperatures should be expected
  • Solid understanding of pulling trailers and hitching trucks is helpful
  • Some out-of-town and regional travel required, including occasional overnight stays


Additional details:

Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will include some evenings, weekends and all Thunder Alley dates, and long shifts. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation required. Physical requirements of the job include lifting 50 pounds, reaching, bending and may include shooting baskets, dribbling or retrieving balls. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Special Projects & Event Presentation.
