Job Summary
Mid-State Marketing is currently accepting applications for a Class-A CDL Transport Driver position at our Deridder, Louisiana location. Mid-State Marketing is a master distributor of Borden brand dairy products in the State of Louisiana and has been doing business since 1950.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Transport Driver you are responsible for safely driving to the Borden Dairy processing plant located in Lafayette, Louisiana each day, Monday through Friday, and picking up milk and dairy products to bring back to our route depot. Upon returning to our depot, you along with loader helper(s), will help load each route truck while ensuring that the correct product is loaded onto each truck.
This position requires careful attention to the details of ensuring that the correct products and quantities of products are picked up from the Borden plant and loaded onto the correct route trucks each day.
Required Qualifications and Skills
This is a physical job requiring the ability to climb, carry loads of more than 40 pounds, push/pull, bend, stoop and kneel numerous times throughout the day.
The applicant must possess a Class A Commercial Drivers License with at least one year of driving experience with no motor vehicle accidents or violations.
Basic math skills are required to perform this job.

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
- Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
