Dakotaland Feeds LLC was founded in 2001 and is owned by Agtegra Cooperative and Land O Lakes Purina. Dakotaland Feeds has six locations across South Dakota and North Dakota. The headquarter location is in Huron, SD with satellite locations in Cavour, Kennebec, and Herreid, SD along with Medina, ND. The feed mill in Huron produces feed for cattle, swine, poultry, and sheep. Feed is produced in meal, crumbles, and pellets. Dakotaland Feeds has its own trucking fleet and delivers feed with auger trailers, hopper trailers, and van trailers.

Full Job Description

Dakotaland Feeds LLC is looking for a class A CDL driver with a valid medical card for its Huron, SD location. Truck drivers are responsible to help load their truck and ensure the right feed is delivered and unloaded in the correct location. Drivers will pull auger trailers, hopper trailers, and van trailers. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver feed to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner and maintain proper documentation. It is important that the candidate be able to communicate with customers and coworkers on delivery times and follow delivery instructions. The job may include assisting in the warehouse or other duties as needed. Most routes allow drivers to be home nightly but there are some overnight trips required. Dakotaland Feeds delivers feed primarily in SD and ND, and occasionally to IA, MN, and WY. A normal work week is Monday through Friday with the possibility of weekend driving depending on schedule and weather. Updated and well-maintained equipment is used to make feed deliveries. Previous feed hauling experience is preferred but not required. Valid class A CDL and medical card are required along with ability to pass DOT drug test. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work outside in all weather conditions. Hourly wage DOE

Shift Opportunities:

1st shift 7:00 am-end of day. Wage: $20.50
