As the Senior Analyst for the Underwriting Department, you will perform all functions related to making securities eligible, closing issuances and other tasks related to eligibility. You will also pay high attention to detail and will be accuracy-driven in your approach to all procedures. The Underwriting Senior Analyst is effective in time management, handles multiple tasks with tight deadlines, and communicates with clients and other departments to resolve discrepancies related to eligibility and other underwriting processes.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides; make suggestions on improving processes and efficiencies
  • Process specialized workflows, resolves exceptions, and assists with complex inquiries
  • Take ownership of workload to ensure deliverables met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks
  • Maintain a steadfast focus on client service, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution, process improvements, and risk reduction
  • Facilitate training sessions for junior team members as directed by management
  • Build knowledge of department controls

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
