Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab is seeking a Unit Clerk for our 5 star skilled nursing facility. Reporting to the Director of Resident Services, the Unit Clerk's duties and responsibilities include:

· Scheduling and Tracking Patients Physician appointments and transportation.

· Verifying each chart for necessary paperwork for Physicians, Nurses, therapists, and other disciplines.

· Ensure that each nurses station is neat, orderly, and fully stocked with necessary paperwork and supplies.

· Make sure that rooms are ready for admission.

· Ensures that each new resident has appropriate wheelchair tag and name/picture at door.

Basic computer skills are required, including Word and Excel experience. Must be sensitive to both the individual needs of employees and the staffing needs of the facility.

The hours for this position are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday, with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
