Wilson & Company is seeking a Unlicensed Architect to serve as a Project Manager in our El Paso, TX office. This professional will be responsible for delivering quality projects to our valued clients while building relationships that will help to grow our practice. Depending on the needs of the project, this position will perform both lead and supporting roles on various projects, tasks, and business development activities in Texas and in other states.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work collaboratively with and mentor junior staff in a positive and professional manner.
- Work cooperatively with the architecture group in Texas and other Wilson & Company Divisions throughout the 14 offices.
- Effectively foster relationships with team members and clients, as well as industry stakeholders and regulators.
- High degree of interpersonal and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Project Architect - programming, design, preparation of construction documents, graphical illustrations, and other key tasks essential to serving our clients architectural needs.
- Project Manager – responsible for the delivery of project scope elements within budget and schedule without the sacrifice of quality.
- Build the Practice - Business Development throughout the state of Texas.
Required Skills
- High level of independence, confidence, and strong work ethic with a passion for achievement and success.
- Effective and clear writing and verbal communication skill.
- Candidates must be proficient in all phases of design, construction documents and construction administration.
Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture in an NAAB-accredited college or university.
- A Master’s degree in Architecture is a plus.
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Revit platforms.
- Bentley MicroStation experience a plus.

Annual Salary Range: $66,000 - $88,000
