The current shift structure is 4 - ten hour days working a day shift structure.


Job Description


Assists material handlers by handling in-process and finished goods, supplies, reels, etc., required for operation of a smooth flow for them. Will be responsible for the tasks that take away from the downtime of the material handlers to provide more throughput.

1. Remove finished goods and paperwork from machines and deliver to proper location and stage in an orderly fashion for shipment or storage

2. Assist with housekeeping duties including dumping all dumpsters, delivering scrap to proper areas, breaking down scrap reels, and warehousing as necessary

3. Unloading empty reels and any inbound material on van trailers and putting them away in storage or staging areas for usage

4. Receiving buttons and rope into the system and putting them away

5. Will assist with cycle counts and inventory as needed as well as counting empty and full reel inventories

6. Will seek and stage master reels for operators near machine/let-off locations

7. Will be called upon for other daily duties as needed by management or operators


Qualifications


High school diploma or GED

Previous manufacturing experience and/or forklift experience preferred.

Previous experience with hand tools such as pliers, wire-cutters, hammer, hoists, fork-lift truck, cutting torch, brooms, scrapers, shovel, mop, micrometer, saws and various hand-tools, RF scanner

Standing/walking on concrete floors for 8-10 hour shifts, pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs., operating fork-lift truck.
