Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Pay Rate $24-$25/hr
Position Summary:
Help youth and adults diagnosed with mental, physical and learning disabilities prepare for, secure and maintain employment and internships.
Responsibilities:
- Support a high-performing culture aligned with TGCW core values and B.A.S.I.C Tenets: Balance, Accountability, Satisfaction, Inclusion, and Communication.
- Prepare youth and adults for internships and work.
- Facilitate job readiness groups.
- Develop relationships with businesses to promote employment opportunities.
- Place participants in jobs and internships.
- Provide on-site and off-site job coaching.
- Assist with the administration of diagnostic vocational evaluations.
- Complete documentation such as case notes, authorization requests and reports.
- Attend/participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.
Two years experience in vocational counseling with youth and adults. Job developing, computer and communication skills needed. Driver’s license required.
Travel Requirements: Generally around 30%
