JOB OVERVIEW

The VP, Marketing will lead an incredible team of entrepreneurial marketers that play a pivotal role in the continuing growth and success of TravisMathew. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, planning and execution of all brand and marketing initiatives. This individual will work alongside the Creative team to lead, inspire, and motivate the marketing team to achieve excellence through all brand moments and experiences. The VP, Marketing will serve as a strategic leader and leverage his / her creative and analytical capabilities to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales across all channels.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the marketing department in the development and execution of marketing initiatives that elevate the brand and consumer experience
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy / plan to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and drive traffic across all channels
  • Create and implement the organization’s multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaign based on industry-leading insight
  • Define and develop international market entry strategies
  • Define key brand performance indicators and hold team accountable to results
  • Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
  • Manage marketing calendar and ensure all deliverables are met
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar marketing budget and track ROI
  • Expand, develop, and maintain media relationships to create a positive external image associated with brand recognition
  • Partner with all stakeholders to ensure adoption and consistency of brand guidelines across all departments and channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business objectives and sales goals are being met
  • Inspire, mentor, and motivate team; foster the growth and continued development of team

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to effectively and succinctly communicate with and influence multiple stakeholders across all levels
  • Ability to coach / lead and collaborate at all organizational levels
  • Ability to prioritize workflow based on deadlines
  • Ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of leveraging analytics to drive business performance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing
  • Minimum 15 years’ relevant marketing experience, preferably in apparel or lifestyle brand
  • Minimum 10 years’ leadership experience
