Snelling is searching for a Qualified Warehouse Associate for a well-established Industrial Chains company in the Trussville, AL area. The pay rate for this position is $16.00-17.00/hr, depending on experience, and it is a 1st shift position. Apply today with Confidence!!Warehouse Associate Job Duties:
- Welcome delivery trucks
- Receive and track shipments
- Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
- Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
- Tag and label products
- Label and stockpile chains according to size, shape, and type.
- Assemble chains if needed
- Prepare all orders for shipment
- Record and manage all impaired or damaged product items
- Operate a sit-down forklift, pallet jack
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
- Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker for 2-3 years
- Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs is a plus
- Team player
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solver
