Job description

As our Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving shipments, and processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. Looking for an individual who has a positive attitude, is reliable, and has transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the accuracy of the daily inventory count in the warehouse
• As orders come in, pull the product on the Sales Orders and prepare the product for shipment.
• Pack customer orders either as individual boxes, or place on pallet's, strap, and shrink wrap to ensure safe transportation
• Measure and weight each order so the office can prepare shipping labels, or BOL's
• Keep the facility clean and orderly
• Ensure the grounds are free of debris.
• Be willing to take on task assigned by General Manager

Requirements

• Follow directions well
• Know how to operated a Fork-Lift
• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Be able to stand for 4+ hours a day, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate and understand English in written and verbal form
• Possess average reading and counting skills
• Have the ability to walk, stand, squat, bend, reach overhead, push/pull totes, and carts frequently throughout the shift
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Belle Chasse, LA 70037: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
