Job Description/Role/Responsibilities

Forklift I - III (Entry to Experienced Levels)

1.0 Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Willing to take direction from Supervisor/Lead and ability to work well with others

· Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times.

· Must follow HACCP, GMP and Safety guidelines (training will be provided).

· Will be trained in specific job duties.

· Report all problems and concerns to Supervisor.

· Always adhere to GMP guidelines throughout the facility.

· Maintain the integrity of HACCP (Food Safety) plans as it relates to job function(s).

· Understand and follow safety procedures.

· Work in a team environment.

· Perform other reasonable job-related duties as requested.

· Good & Positive attitude

· Proper Radio Etiquette

· Report to work on time (Ready at job duty floor by start of shift )

2.0 Education/Experience

· High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required.

3.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Language Skills - Must be able to read and write clearly in English, bi-lingual a plus. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and manuals

· Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, and calculating percentages.

· Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Good Organizational Skills- Must be able to prioritize time

4.0 Physical Requirements

· Be able to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hrs) repetitive work

· Some physical effort is required, i.e. Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent bases, walking, standing, stoop, squat, bend, and reach.

· Use of equipment to include but not limited to: Rolling racks, pallet jacks, hand carts, ladders, dollies, calculator, digital camera, scales, reftractometer, ruler, digital thermometer and computer keyboard.

· Must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

5.0 Equipment/Software Used

· Will be trained to operate a pallet jack and forklift as required.

6.0 Work Environment

· Must be willing to work in refrigerated warehouse environment – Cold/Wet 35-38°F

· Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, weekends and overtime as scheduled or needed.

· Full Time Position

· Must work in a professional and courteous manor with subordinates and peers

· Open to work in a diverse work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20 – 22 per hour

• OT Frequently Required

Supplemental Pay:

• Incentive pay (Tiered additional weekly bonus paid if & when group exceeds specific hourly productivity thresholds)

Experience:

• Forklift Operators: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: One location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
