As a member of the Leadership Team at the company, I am responsible for the various production functions such as Inventory, Fabrication, Machining, and Countertop Installation. We’re a 27+ year-old, family-owned manufacturer of premium custom countertops & surfaces, located in Bow, NH. Our sales and marketing efforts are primarily focused on custom kitchen and bath dealers and homebuilders in Northern New England who value relationships and want a wide selection of products, quality craftsmanship, and competitive lead times.

The Warehouse Material Handler position is responsible for keeping the warehouse facility orderly and stone inventory organized as well as assisting customers who visit the warehouse for pick-up, drop off, or stone viewing to ensure their total satisfaction. This is a process-driven position, and you must be willing to learn and follow procedures completely beginning with a very precise safety program.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Unload delivery trucks: Remove inventory product from trucks and store in proper location
• Inventory: Tag inventory stock with barcode numbers, assign locations, and take pictures
• Load A-frames: Prepare assigned slabs for fabrication
• Manage Remnant Stock: Bring remnants in and out as needed, maintain order in remnant area
• Customer Service: assist customers during drop off or pick up (including verification of payment), assist with stone viewings as needed
• Custodial: keep warehouse swept and orderly
• Safety: follow safety procedures, maintain warehouse and remnant yard to be a safe and organized area for products and people
• Other tasks that are assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Past material handling experience and or forklift certification a plus, but not required
• Must be presentable, speak English fluently, and have excellent customer service skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Reliability is key. You must be on time every day, as scheduled. This is a Monday through Friday position with occasional Saturdays and your team depends on you!
• Rotating On-Call weekend schedule with mandatory weekend work during busy times
• Must be able to work overtime as needed. It is a seasonal business and overtime is expected during those times.
• Must possess a mobile device to allow sending and receiving communication texts
• Must pass a medical examination demonstrating you are physically capable of doing the job and must be able to obtain a DOT Med card
• Must have Valid NH driver's license
