Day Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pmOverview:
Warehouse Receiving Team members are responsible for verifying incoming material is accounted for according to the BOL, as well as quality control. Team member will verify material was shipped and packaged appropriately upon arrival at our location, arrived undamaged, and following procedures for logging into inventory and storage.
Essential Duties:
Unload freight trucks and store materials in appropriate bin location.
Be able to read engineering blue prints.
Oversees receiving and unloading of incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of the shipment.
Oversees the inspection of shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies manager and/or purchasing personnel.
Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.
Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
Maintains an attitude of teamwork and collaboration.
Helps packers when receiving is caught up.
Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Have exceptional attention to detail.
Have basic computer knowledge.
Be able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8 hour shift.
Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
An attitude of team work & collaboration is a must.
Ability to read engineering drawings and know products and part numbers.
Ability to read a ruler/tape measure.
Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
