Rush ReCommerce, in partnership with The Rush Market, receives online customer returns, utilizes specialized software to inspect and value the products, resells through physical and online retail, and brings tremendous value to retailers and vendors.
We are seeking a motivated, passionate, self-starter to lead our local fulfillment center. Online customer returns are directed to one of our local fulfillment centers for detailed inspection and resale on the Rush Market marketplace, shipping to customers across the nation and offering local customers curbside pickup.

Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily receipt, inspection, and fulfillment activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to develop a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage (train, supervise, and develop) the fulfillment team to insure overall team productivity and success and perform the job in partnership with the team
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Plan, delegate and coordinate daily tasks to appropriate team members with clear directions, providing performance feedback for each team member
  • Ensure all online orders are picked, packaged, and ready for pickup or shipment with high degree of accuracy
  • Ensure all incoming receipts are processed in a timely manner and are accurately inspected with accurate data input into systems
  • Maintain high degree of inventory accuracy through managed cycle count program
  • Ensure that safety, security, and organization/cleanliness are maintained everyday
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) with leadership, team members, and other departments
  • Ensure positive customer interactions during curbside pickup and returns
  • Identify areas of system or process improvement and bring to manager’s attention
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
  • Work with the facility management department to ensure facility structure is maintained as a safe working environment
  • Serve as Designated Representative for site
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or its equivalent, at least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations with 2 years of supervisory experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
  • Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
