What does a Transport Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In this role, you will be responsible for the internal and external movement of finished goods from production to warehouse and external sales centers. You will also focus on maintaining appropriate fulfillment levels for our customers and keeping Out of Stocks minimized.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all inbound and out bound movements
- Move finished product internally in a timely manner ensuring it does not disrupt production operations or product supply to Sales Centers.
- Implement controls and processes to properly document, track and balance the movement of finished goods by forklift operators to achieve a goal of zero discrepancy.
- Maintains inventory levels of finished goods according to business demand and achieve goal of zero out-of-stocks.
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
- Secure company assets
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget
- Knowledge of Inventory reconciliation policies and process
- Knowledge of Shipping and receiving SOP’s
- Experience with a Union CBA
- Understanding of transportation dynamics
- Understanding of warehouse industry quality standards (holds and recalls)
- Knowledge and experience of working in a product supply environment
- General Math Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack required
- Ability lift product (up to 50lb) frequently and repetitively required
