Starting wage up to $15/Hour depending on experience!!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Warehouse Workers are responsible for receiving and shipping merchandise at our Distribution Center. They maintain the flow of merchandise by accurately checking in, loading/unloading, and delivering it to the proper location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives merchandise deliveries
• Records and checks quantity and quality of merchandise
• Properly inputs received merchandise into the computer systems
• Operates forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving merchandise and materials
• Sort through and separate merchandise based on shipping form
• Print and hand out transfer orders to manager and prepares outgoing shipments
• Shrink-wrap palletized merchandise manually
• Safely stack merchandise on outgoing shipment pallet
• Safely unstack merchandise from received pallet
• Safety awareness of anything in the warehouse that may be hazardous to employees or visitors
• Additional duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities, with enthusiasm
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices is preferred
• Ability to:
  • Read and interpret documents such as POs, packing slips, and invoices
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
