The City of Nacogdoches is looking for an Environmental Coordinator. The qualified individual will be responsible for the supervision and enforcement of the Industrial Pretreatment Program in accordance with Federal, State and local regulatory requirements. This individual will also provide oversight of programs related to pollution prevention, the Fats, Oils, and Grease Prevention Program, and the Cross Connection Control Program. Exercises a high degree of creativity, independent judgment and discretion, in determining the scope of departmental programs and services.Requires a High school diploma/GED plus college level courses in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License, Class C. Prior Pretreatment, Wastewater, and Water Distribution systems experience is preferred but not required.
