Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Application programming in a variety of industry standard environments, technologies, and content management systems.
- The oversight of individual projects.
- Application maintenance.
- Direct contact with clients and constituent stakeholders, including written and oral communication, and presentations on the ongoing development and delivery of applications.
- Application documentation and internal notation.
- Programming related configuration of servers and SAAS environments as required to perform the above duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science or other related degree required.
- Five years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit or higher education IT development organization.
- Experience managing complex development projects.
- Experience working independently or as part of a team.
- Expert knowledge of multiple web development technologies including but not limited to:
- HTML5, JavaScript (ES6 or above), CSS, Bootstrap, and JSON
- Java and NodeJS
- Content management systems such as Drupal 8 or above
- Portal management systems
- Experience with Amazon Web Services such as EC2, ELB, S3, Route53, CloudFront, Lambda & API Gateway
