We are looking for a passionate, hard working Events Planner to join our family on our Events Team. Our team is dedicated to excellence in delighting our clients and guests with top of the line service and unforgettable experiences. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Ambassador of In Good Company Hospitality at trade shows and conventions to promote company and build sales
• Manage and communicate the company's special events calendar
• Forecasting and implementing budgets and revenue goals for special events
• Bookings, confirmations, generating proposals and contracts
• Solicit and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners for events.
• Arranges special public relations events on and off premises.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure proper set up for successful coordination of events
• Manage and direct on site staff to execute events
• Communicate with customers leading up to, during, and after events
• Resolve customer complaints

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in Events/Marketing
• Superior customer service management skills
• Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as needed
• Passion for Hospitality and a hands-on environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Rockaway Park, NY 11694: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Event planning: 2 years (Preferred)
• Wedding Events: 2 years (Preferred)
