Merritt Aluminum Products is now hiring for experienced aluminum Welders who are available to work 1st shift Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

The hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00 depending on experience.

What will you be doing for us?

• Primary responsibility is MIG and TIG welding aluminum assemblies like our storage boxes and cab racks in a fast paced, high quality manufacturing environment
• Bending and lifting of 50 pounds is required to load and unload welding fixtures
• Some positions require light assembly work

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or training welding
• Willing to engage in training on MIG/TIG aluminum welding processes
• Ability to read blue prints and follow instructions from work orders
• Accurately lay out parts, assemble and weld to meet specifications on the print
• Must be able to read tape measure and other measuring devices
• Experience with the use of hand tools required in a manufacturing environment
• Must demonstrate proficiency in welding by passing a weld test
• Must have mechanical aptitude
