HOURS: 6AM - 2:30 PM and 9:30 PM - 6 AM

• 6% DIFFERENTIAL PAY FOR 2ND SHIFT
• 10% DIFFERENTIAL PAY FOR 3RD SHIFT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned

:

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding operations.
• Follow detailed weld repair procedures.
• Perform all set-up of welding equipment.
• Read and follow all process documentation and operator instructions.
• Meet all productivity and quality standards.
• Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

2. Welding certification and/or MIG/TIG welding work experience required.

3. Must pass welder qualification tests per AWS D1.2.

4. Thorough knowledge of welding processes and procedures.

5. Meet all Level 3 training requirements.

6. Experience interpreting blueprints, operator instructions, and process documentation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to read and interpret metal rule.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must regularly wear Personal Protective Equipment. The employee is frequently required to understand and comply with work directions and discriminate amongst various potential safety hazards. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Adhere to company safety rules and all federal and state reporting agencies requirements such as OSHA and EPA.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
