Alpargatas is making significant investments in the NA&C operation to ensure Havaianas will take a leadership position in the market in the coming years.
Purpose of the Role:
This position is responsible for managing and enhancing the wholesale planning process and measuring actual performance to the plan. The ideal candidate will also be managing the total demand plan for all channels: retail, e-commerce and wholesale.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain weekly/monthly sell-through reporting and hindsight recaps across wholesale.
  • Pre-season planning for all major wholesale accounts, including creating a pre-season OTB that will be managed in-season.
  • Roll up Seasonal Buys post market across all 3 channels for Supply Planning.
  • Prepare a monthly unit forecast for Retail, Wholesale, and E-Commerce channels that meet the timing of the demand planning calendar.
  • Support in reviewing inbound and outbound inventory flow with Supply Planning.
  • Facilitate the monthly demand planning meeting including agenda, exceptions reports, and performance feedback measurements along with following an established process for issue resolution and escalation.
  • Evaluation of monthly data loads into Logility (statistical forecasting tool) — Quality of data is critical when developing baseline statistical forecasts. This role will be responsible for assuring that master data related to forecasting and forecast entries are up to date and accurate. This includes facilitating the sustaining of relevant master data maintenance processes and working with all business functions to assure master data is evaluated and adjusted.
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure style level forecasts support partners and corporate financials plans. Monitor ongoing demand and make recommendations to the Sales team to address the gap/opportunities.
  • Provide ad-hoc forecasts/analysis to support management decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of wholesale B2B planning.
  • 1-2 years demand planning, forecasting or merchandise planning experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the wholesale market, sales forecasting, demand planning and inventory management.
  • Strong financial aptitude with in-depth knowledge of retail analytics.
  • Proven ability and success in leading a business unit to achieving financial and inventory targets.
  • Ability to plan resources effectively, anticipate obstacles and develop solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Highly resourceful, flexible and works well in an unstructured environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cross functional influencing skills to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Accustomed to working in a multinational environment.
