Fast Wireless a T-Mobile Premium Retailer is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager that possesses a competitive spirit and a desire to motivate and inspire a team to maximize sales and profits through exceptional customer service, team member coaching and operational efficiency.
As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for providing support and leadership to the overall store operations and are accountable for personal and store sales as well as the development of a high-performing motivated team. You will report directly to the Store Manager for your location.
What You Will Do:
- Create a results-focused culture that drives profitability through collaboration and integrity.
- Utilize consultative selling skills that set the standard of performance by educating, demonstrating and recommending solutions to ensure customer needs are met.
- Deliver financial results based on specific performance and experience objectives in order to achieve company and personal goals.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring and developing an effective sales team.
- Support team member growth and promotion through observation, coaching, and real-time feedback.
- Partner in training the team on FastWireless/T-Mobile’s rapidly evolving technology, devices and services.
- Drive operational procedures to help minimize risk, protect store assets and ensure accuracy of sales recording.
- Assist with store operations including inventory and merchandising as well as the implementation of new products and promotions.
- Participate in developing marketing strategies to solicit new business, including outbound calling, community involvement, and outreach programs.
What You Will Need:
- 1-3 years of customer service and/or sales experience preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent sales skills and a history of exceeding monthly sales goals.
- Ability to coach a team to achieve results and provide a great customer experience.
- Able to interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Technologically proficient.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- A high school degree or GED is required.
