Digital Design + Woodworking = Wooden Artwork

We are a small yet effective studio that designs and creates intricate Wooden Wall Art for a domestic and global audience. We are also obsessed with continual improvement and enjoy working with others that share this same desire. If you love solving problems, we're interested in working with you.

Job Overview:
Tl;dr - Build Wood Artwork.
- Full time work (Monday-Friday 8-4pm)
- Starting pay around $19 (amount of skill moves this bar)
- Not necessary: Experience in the arts

Here are just some of the tasks that are balanced throughout the day (not just one person’s job):
- Printing out new orders (very light computer work)
- Cutting plywood
- Preparing wood for lasers
- Staining / Sanding Wood
- Loading lasers and run files
- Keeping lasers functioning
- Preparing artwork for Glue-ups (meticulous and slow)
- Gluing Wooden Artwork
- Applying protective clear-coat to artwork
- Accurately labeling artwork
- Wrapping / Boxing Artwork for Safe Shipping
- Keeping an organized workspace
- Regular upkeep of tools and space
- Use creative problem solving to collaborate on studio improvements.

Notes:
- Attention to details a must
- Desire to learn / grow
- Looking for someone who really enjoys working with their hands+head
- Opportunity to learn to Operate 3 Laser cutters
- Must be ok with becoming dusty/dirty (working with wood...)
- Studio is 7 minutes from downtown Medford NJ
- Experience in woodworking a plus but not necessary
- Experience with Fabrication a plus but not necessary
- Paid holidays and two weeks accrued vacation time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Who are we?
At the time of listing this, customers from 49 states and 27 countries have purchased our work (come on North Dakota?). The artwork is a team effort that requires attention to detail and problem solving together. As our demand for our work grows, we are looking for hands-on help taking designs from wood to artwork. If you're a person who enjoys working with your head+hands, we're interested in training you. Our intention is to find a talented person who embraces learning and wants to help us continue to grow a positive oriented team. Bonus points for experience in any type of fabrication (wood, metal, etc, etc, etc).
