Entertainment Company is looking for Account Manager in Brea, CA

Position: Accountant Manager

Status: Monday-Friday, Direct hire, Exempt

Pay: $90K/y

Essential Duties:

• Monitors and manages day-to-day financial operations
• Reviews and approves journals to post vendor invoices
• Reviews monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Reviews quarterly reporting package submitted to Japan
• Coordinates and works with other departments, outsourced accounting firm and CPA auditor for data / documents required to complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
• Analyzes revenues, expenses, and creates cash flow forecast
• Analyzes budget versus actual revenues and expenses
• Liaises with business departments and drafts annual budget
• Prepares documents for CPA audit, J-SOX, and tax returns
• Communicates financial institutes to maintain banking procedures and lease contracts
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Proposes, plans, and implements continual process improvements
• Maintains an accurate filing and records keeping system for all financial statements and company documents
• Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business
• Maintains ERP system
• Manages and leads accounting clerks
• Trains the team for skill-up, shares the knowledge, and accumulates the know-how
• Liaises with Japanese HQ
• Reports to Director and CFO on timely basis

Requirement:

• College degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
• over 5 years' experience in accounting or finance (preferably in the retail or hospitality industries)
• Tax return (Federal and/or State)
• CPA preferred
• Package to Japan preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
