About The Role

The Accountant supports all accounting functions for the CSC Management property portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, s/he will help to ensure that P&L statements, payables, accruals, balance sheets, bank accounts, audits, tenant deposits and ledgers are all accurate and timely every month. This person will develop and maintain an effective relationship with fund controllers and all stakeholders in the business and be able to communicate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the accurate and timely month-end closing process
  • Ensure that financial statement and loan reporting covenants are met on a timely basis
  • Assist in year-end audit preparation and reporting
  • Help to ensure that overall operations are in-compliance with local, state, federal regulations
  • Enter all accounts payable invoices that are schedule to be paid into the system
  • Answer all vendor inquiries
  • Analyze all vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted

Minimum Requirements + Skills

  • 0-3 years experience in accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Experience in real estate is a bonus!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and/or an equivalent degree, CPA a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Entrata, or ability to learn these systems quickly
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high quality results
  • Attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills are a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism standards and strong character
  • Punctual and reliable
