Gold Brick property management is an innovative company serving owners and associations in King and Snohomish County. Our goal is to provide value added services to increase the value of our clients portfolios through the use of technology and collaborative solutions.

The accountant is responsible for the accounting functions related to residential real estate and the associations we manage. The accountant will report directly to the company owner and will have daily interation with property managers, owners, vendors and associations including board members.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‐end financial statements/reporting packages
• Perform a wide variety of accounting analysis
• Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger
• Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process rent, HOA payments and cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
• Prepare common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations
• Managing A/P and A/R for handyman services provided
• Monitor daily cash balances
• Assist with preparation of annual operating budgets
• Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned

Has a “can do” productive self‐motivated attitude, demonstrates initiative and suggests improved processes.

Potential applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and at least 3 years of general accounting experience. Experience in real estate property accounting is preferred. In addition, the candidate should have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
