Job Summary
To provide administrative support to Accounting Support Services and Procurement and Contracts. Primary duties include: Perform general office support functions to include filing, answering the phone, greeting customers, and keying data etc. Conduct monthly Small Purchase Charge Card reviews and approve Chrome River expense reports by reviewing transactional data to ensure compliance with all SPCC regulations, policies, and procedures as defined by the Virginia Department of Accounts and provide support for the program administrator with other duties as they pertain to the SPCC . Setting up vendors in Banner, eVA and Cardinal per Vendor Management procedures. Scan and manage documents such as W9’s, SPCC , payment documents, contracts, renewals and modifications. Provide support with administrative functions for check write which includes emailing check notifications, distributing payments that have enclosures and printing back up documentation for payments. Assist with eVA approvals, run reports and conduct research for vendor awards. Provide back-up support as requested in eVA procurement platform to include approval of requisitions and campus support.
Required Qualifications
Ability to work independently. Working knowledge of general office procedures. Ability to use current technology effectively including, Microsoft office software, computers, scanners, copiers, and general office technology. Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Chrome River, Banner, eVA, Cardinal, and Cobblestone or other electronic storage software systems as well as reconciliation or book keeping skills.
