Job description
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, responsibilities will include receive completed and QC approved batch from Compounder and prepare for shipment to customer. This is accomplished by:Works from system packing schedule to generate labels for batch and labels all shipping containers prior to filling.
Stages empty packing containers and sets up pumps and hoses.
Places shipping containers on scale and fills according to the order requirements using a variety of methods according to batch size.
Installs bung or flex spout on filled container, using appropriate tool, and cleans exterior of container. Places filled container on pallet to be moved to shipping area when order is complete.
Bring completed batch to shipping area using forklift as required.
Completes assigned orders in allotted time.
Maintains clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations and procedures, understanding the hazards of handling the various chemicals.
Operate equipment in accordance with operating instructions. Equipment to include automated filling machine, lift table, scales, pumps, etc.
Participates in year-end physical inventory
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
High School Degree or equivalency (GED).
Two years work experience required in manufacturing environment
Prior fork lift experience required.
Good communication skills.
Ability to understand the importance of chemical handling safety, and adhere to safety regulations, guidelines and procedures.
Ability to handle heavy materials, including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.).
Possesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics.
