Full Job Description

The Alignment Technician services our customers’ vehicles in wheel alignments and steering components. They are alignment experts continuously learning new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.

Job Details:

What you will do:

• Performs alignments on all makes and models
• Performs multi-point inspection
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment
• Recommends services based on findings from inspection
• Communicate with advisor with any additional services needed

Qualifications:

• General mechanical and suspension knowledge
• Ability to understand alignment theory
• Proficient computer skills to include online order management applications and diagnostic test equipment
• Able to prioritize attention to detail and safety in a fast paced environment
• Work as a team member in assisting fellow automotive technicians to achieve service goals

Requirements:

• 18 years old
• A valid driver's license
• High school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate is helpful
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience with emphasis on alignments
• Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds
• Available to work part time or full-time, Monday – Saturday, with one day off during the week
• Workshop environment, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing and walking
