Description

Cloudmed is looking for an Analyst to join our Workers’ Compensation Revenue Management (WCRM) operations team. WCRM partners with hospital clients to manage their workers’ compensation receivables from billing to final collection. The Analyst works with directly with workers’ compensation insurance companies to help our hospital clients get paid for the care they provide. This role entails significant time on the phone and focuses on verifying insurance information and hospital billing follow-up, amongst other tasks. Analysts will work on an operations team to achieve monthly goals and maintain a high level of client service. This is an excellent opportunity in the healthcare space to work in a professional, team-based setting with a comprehensive in-house training program.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hospital bills with workers’ compensation insurance plans
• Maintain timely and professional follow-up on account volume, primarily via phone
• Address and respond to denials from insurance companies to ensure accurate payment of submitted bills
• Prioritize inquiries from key stakeholders and assist with project-specific tasks and reporting
• Communicate regularly and effectively with key stakeholders and upper management
• Utilize Cloudmed and client software platforms to manage account information and workflow
• Follow Cloudmed’s privacy, security, and compliance policies, including adherence to HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

Minimum Associate’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience; healthcare preferred)

• Self-starter with a team-first and can-do attitude, who can work interdependently within a team environment
• Strong organizational and professional skills
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
