Area Director of Revenue Strategy - Concord Hospitality Enterprises - Orlando, Florida Area
Job description
As an Area Director of Revenue Strategy, you will be responsible for maximizing overall room revenue for multiple hotels within the Orlando, Florida hotel cluster for Concord Hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing for each hotel to ensure strategy is aligned and each team is focused on maximizing revenues. Lead Daily and Weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings using Concord and Brand Revenue Systems and
- Provide daily strategic and direct inventory management, including analysis and tracking of daily pickup, turndowns, market pricing, inventory strategies, and demand pattern changes.
- Deploy rational and competitive pricing, support distribution strategy with targeted marketing, and manage hotel inventory to maximize topline revenue and yield high profits.
- Manage and oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that supports and evaluates hotel business strategies.
- Maintain a weekly transient pace that extends out 60 days. Include the pace report in the weekly revenue meeting for analysis of trends.
- Contribute to the preparation of a rooms forecast, day by day, 90 days out maintaining accuracy of 4% or
- Generate weekly and monthly critiques, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve overall profitability.
- Provide analysis and communicate results of strategies and tactics deployed to regional teams, hotel teams and ownership groups.
- Execute displacement model for large programs or contract pieces of business to make sound decisions.
- Ensure that all merchant, retail, opaque or bundled channels are in alignment with Relationships with market managers are owned by the Director of Revenue as well as strong relationships with Concord Ecommerce partners to understand any SEO or PPC initiatives in place.
- Review the month end brand Reservations reports to identify any challenges to the booking process from the respective Brand Reservations office.
- Review the AG360 weekly to identify opportunities for demand generation or share enhancement to be provided to the sales team.
- Knowledgeable of occupancy, average rate, and REVPAR goals including ranking and penetration goals. Be aware of key strategies that drive performance in each area
Requirements:
- 3 + years of multi-property revenue management experience required. Director level a plus. Marriott, Hilton and IHG brand experience preferred.

Intermediate or expert skill level in the use of the Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Requires understanding and analysis of financial statements.
- Technically skilled in managing all systems and business intelligence tool related to Revenue Management.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of several teams
- Ideal candidate will live in Orlando Market and be able to conduct in person strategy meetings or have worked in Orlando market recently and have extensive knowledge of the various sub-markets within Orlando.
- Understanding of brand promotions and able to identify which ones would best fit the hotel strategy.

Basic knowledge of PMS systems and reporting for all hotels that relate to revenue reporting in order to ensure accurate segment tracking, package setup and adjustment tracking.
Able to maintain positive and constructive relationships with hotels leaders, regional teams, corporate staff, ownership groups, asset managers and all brand liaisons.
