We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to work at our Santa Anna, CA location as an Assembly Technician.

Position Type:

Full-Time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Two years production experience

2. High School Diploma

3. Microscope experience

4. US person

5. As the nature of the work task and/or procedures change, training will be as needed

6. Self-motivated, driven for excellence, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, coupled with creativity to resolve problems.

7. Strong, clean, and effective written and verbal communications.

8. Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications 9. Exceptional interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts per work instructions and process procedures
• Carry out daily and weekly tasks
• Help to troubleshoot and source experts when needed
• Must maintain high level of on-time delivery and first-time quality
• Maintain safe and clean working area
• Participate in required company training
• Working in semi-clean room environment
• Detailed assemble of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applications

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed on site at IJ RESEARCH’s office in Santa Ana, CA, but will require travel both domestic and international. Office work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Proper safety equipment is provided by IJ RESEARCH when/where necessary. Remote work is applicable to the position, but not 100% of the time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Office work involves standing and walking for brief periods, but most work is from a seated position. Travel work involves driving, flying, and walking with luggage. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials & computer screen. Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, travel and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels.
