Job description

The corpus Christi Gun Club is looking for an Assistant/Trainee to assist the manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.

Duties:

Have a thorough understanding of the safety and other rules/regulations of the corpus Christi Gun Club concerning safety and enforcing these rules and regulations concerning all venues (Act as a safety officer), and an overall knowledge of the club rules, membership and general daily operations of the club.

Have a basic knowledge and experience with firearm safety

After successful completion of on the job training the individual will be expected to assist the Manager and Assistant manager in:

Overseeing and directing staff to perform duties as needed to operate smoothly and efficiently

Daily operations outside the clubhouse

Setting/resetting sporting clay and five stand courses

Assist with events and competitions as needed

Learn minor maintenance for sporting clay, skeet and trap machines to include keeping full of targets

Any other duties requested

After successful completion of above training and a positive 90 day review the following duties may be added:

Daily operations inside the clubhouse and act as a backup cashier as needed

Incoming deliveries to be placed in inventory and any other related activity

Monthly inventory, inventory control, and ordering of necessary goods for resale

Open and close clubhouse and operate register when needed

Preferred skills and Education

College Education with either a degree in business or sports management, or 2-3 years applicable business experience, having shot registered sporting clays and or registered skeet (Please include NSSA/NSCA member number on application)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
