Job Summary:

The basic functions of the position may be divided into four major categories: reporting, maintenance, reconciliation, and projects. Below is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of each, although it is expected that other tasks and functions may also be performed as a component of the position. Employees are expected to fulfill and complete these duties and responsibilities and others as assigned at a consistently high quality level and within required time frames.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Manage daily and monthly valuation workload.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting workload, as required.
  • Provide portfolio return and performance reports, as required.
  • Manage regularly assigned and special reporting projects.
  • Enter external cash flow and STIF factors into PAMS.
  • Provide liquidity management by monitoring available cash versus the stated target.
  • Post total returns to the appropriate module.
  • Document and continually update client procedures and processes.
  • Update client and portfolio information including STIF, account numbers, contacts, etc.
  • Post Disaster Recovery information and client reporting data to the appropriate location.
  • Record any change to data immediately.
  • Reconcile each client account’s STIF balance daily and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies immediately.
  • Review non-matching Issuer statements monthly and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies prior to the following month-end.
  • Review non-matching holdings from Trust statements monthly and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies prior to the following month-end.
  • Help set up new client portfolios and holdings in PAMS.
  • Assist with client conversions such as a trustee change, valuation frequency change, etc.
  • Support data management efforts such as omnibus account details, plan option balances, cash flows, and demographic data
  • Complete regularly assigned projects accurately and timely.
  • Regularly participate in the completion of special projects.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 2-years experience with PC based network systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Accountancy knowledge and skills

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Communicates effectively.
  • Excellent client service (internal and external).
  • Multi-task oriented (ability to coordinate projects and time management).
  • Effective teamworking.

Formal Education:

A minimum of a 4-year college degree or other pertinent hands-on experience in fixed income or stable value securities settlement and administration.
