The Embassy Suites - Orlando Lake Buena Vista South is currently accepting applications for Bellperson
As a
Bellperson, you would be responsible for transferring and storing luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet and escort arriving and departing guest to and from their accommodations
- Retrieve and transport guest luggage
- Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with these rooms and their features
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Organize and store luggage, as needed, according to guidelines
- Ensure that management/leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
- Ensure messages and faxes are regularly delivered throughout the day
- Assist with room moves, special luggage deliveries and/or pulls, and attend the main lobby and front door, as needed
- Be familiar with local attractions and businesses. Be sure to recommend on-site venues first.
- Be familiar with all hotel amenities (to include Wireless Internet and Hilton Honors Program).
- Be familiar with all hotel facilities (F&B Outlets, Business Center, Fitness Center, Outdoor Pool & Meeting Space).
- Be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments (to include Guest Services, Housekeeping, F&B Outlets, Banquets, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing).
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Perform other duties & special projects as assigned by the management team.
- Assist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment.

- Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow associates and hotel assets.
- Able to report to scheduled shifts.
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, by telephone and in person.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be computer literate, have attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
