Boat Technician Position (Mechanical)
The Electric Boat Rental is seeking a reliable, motivated boat technician to join its growing service team. Primary activities for this role include inspections, 12v electric repairs (nav & anchor lights, horns, bilge pumps, radios), 48v electric repairs ( DC motors, lithium batteries, chargers), mechanical repairs. This position requires mechanical/electrical experience, and general boating knowledge.
The ability to troubleshoot, work well in a team environment, communicate with others, be flexible, problem solve and work neatly and accurately are key requirements of this position.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Must work weekends
- Troubleshooting boat issues
- Work well in a team
- Maintain a strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift 60lbs and work in a variety of situations
- Contribute to a safe & smooth operation
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekdays and Weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newport Beach, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Work Location: Shop (Huntington Beach), Marina (Lido Marina Village)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
