Gertens Brickyard located in Inver Grove Heights is looking for a Fulltime Cashier candidate to join the team! Our Cashiers receive payment for products or services sold by the company, ensuring the accuracy of the transaction and loss prevention. The Cashier plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction for the business transaction.

Other Key Tasks:

• Invoicing same day basic transactions including scale/weighed products (soils, mulch, rock, boulders etc.).
• Invoicing deliveries and orders.
• Inspecting recycling loads and charging the appropriate fees.
• Converting rental reservations to contracts / processing payments and closing contracts.
• Counting cash drawer & making change when needed
• Restock supplies as needed
• Creating rental reservations and same day contracts and adjusting reservations
• Answering the phone and assist customers with questions and transfer calls to the appropriate person or department.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• No specific educational accomplishment is required.
• Customer service or cashier experience preferred. -Willing to train!
• Involves lifting at least 30 lbs if not more and being on your feet for longer periods of time.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints and working with customers.
