CAD Technician

Position Purpose

To produce high quality as-built/record drawing packages as part of the post-construction regulatory acceptance process for the utilities and infrastructure that McAdams designs and permits.

Essential Functions + Responsibilities

Plan production is a critical role of this position specifically as-built/record drawing plans of water and sewer mains, storm drainage conveyance systems utilizing AutoCAD to include:

• Processing of field data on installed infrastructure components

• Accuracy in translating processed field data to as-built plans

• Work progress record keeping

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or AutoCAD Drafting

• Experience with AutoCAD CIVIL 3D, CAD Standards, and Microsoft Office

• 0 - 2+ years land development work experience preferred

• Candidates should be prepared to provide work samples and/or take a CAD evaluation
