About Our Job
The City and County of Denver is excited to expand our Candidate Care team. This team supports the employment background investigations for the Denver Sheriff Department. The ideal candidates will be have prior experience in supporting candidates through a complex processes. This position is a hybrid role and will be in office at least one day per week.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to, supporting candidates with questions, scheduling appointments that support the background investigation portion of the recruitment process, gathering sensitive data to compile candidate review file.
Daily Tasks May include:
Scheduling all recruitment appointments with applicants.
Supporting candidates in responsive fashion via various forms of communication
Maintaining the confidentiality of all investigations, including all applicant file contents, investigation working documents and reports and forwards these materials to the Commission at the conclusion of investigations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of previous background investigation experience.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
License/Certifications: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
By position, Must obtain and maintain Denver Department of Safety Special Police Authority at the time that it is requested, as part of the selection process.
By position, Possession of Police Officer Standard Training (POST) certification at the time of application.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
