Visiting Angels is currently searching for caregivers to work OVERNIGHT and EVENING SHIFTS in the Corning/Painted Post area of New York. We are hiring for PART-TIME or FULL-TIME positions for all shifts for weekdays and weekends.

Visiting Angels – Living Assistance Services is America’s Choice in Senior Home Care. We are searching for kind, compassionate, professional Caregivers to assist clients activities of daily living.

The position requires a competent Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It can be a very satisfying and rewarding position, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year proven experience caring for Seniors and/or Disabled Adults, professionally or personally.
• Reliable and professional with strong ethics.
• Must enjoy assisting in the needs of others. Respectful and compassionate
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dementia / Alzheimer’s experience a plus
• CNA/HHA license is not required but a plus
