Job Profile Summary
The Center Sales Manager (CSM) directs sales growth and business development for an assigned center. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth plan to drive sales through Membership Growth Consultant (MGC, SF) and plan assignment (D2C) channels. The CSM is responsible for ensuring consistent monthly growth through planning, deploying and managing against short and long-term goals in partnership with market sales leadership. Center assigned MGCs and CCS will report to the CSM who will take on growth responsibilities from the Center Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
MGC Coaching & Capacity Building 50%
- Management of center Membership Growth Consultants (MGCs) and Community and Cultural Specialists where applicable (CCS)
- Manages the center’s overall sales growth through the development, training and coaching of MGCs
- Provides support to MGCs in monthly commission process
- Responsible for MGC selection, onboarding and performance management
Data & Reporting 35%
- Identifies areas of sales deficiency and develops data-driven corrective action plan in partnership with Center Director and Director of Growth to close gaps and accelerate growth
- Monitors and validates daily growth KPIs (i.e., tours, NMAs)
- Accountable for growth KPIs tied to growth core model
- Develops dashboards and reports in salesforce to monitor center growth goals and inform targeted growth activities with data-driven insights
Strategy & Business Development 15%
- Develops ad iterates on center sales strategy in collaboration with Center Director and Director of Growth to achieve and exceed growth goals
- Establishes and maintains center relationships with brokers, agents, payers and community leaders
- Performs other growth-related duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
Additional Job Description
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in Medicare Advantage sales or community outreach with a proven track record of success required; experience in assigned market(s) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge and understanding of sales and business development functions, and performance management
- Experience directly managing a successful sales team required
- Ability to leverage data to monitor sales activity and identify targeted opportunities for growth
- Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reports, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
- Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services; ability to position products against competitors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce
- Limited regional and national travel up to 10%
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management or comparable management position
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to create and analyze excel spreadsheets
- Experience managing through a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
- Analytical approach toward sales data & performance
- Comfort with personal sales quota in addition to management responsibilities
- Outstanding motivational ability
- Strong focus on data and analytics to drive targeted activities and return on growth efforts
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Inclination to work in a results oriented role
- Willing to work some weekends
- Access to reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
