Job description
Supervises and coordinates scheduling, requested time off, operations, training and performance evaluations of Central Sterile processing. Establish policies and standards for the processing, handling and distribution of sterile items; ensures rotation of sterile instruments and surgical instrument trays and related items. Monitoring of sterilization records and quality assurance; pertinent information to infection control when necessary.
EDUCATION & TRAINING: High School Diploma/ GED
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years Central Sterile
LICENSES & CERTIFICATION:
Certified Surgical Technician or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
