Job Summary:

The Market Scheduler is responsible for accurately scheduling procedures to include, but not limited to the following: surgical & endoscopic, perinatal, interventional radiology & all other imaging modalities, PAT & pre-op related appointments, EEG and respiratory therapy at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Twin Cities Community Hospital. Scheduling accuracy requires documentation of procedure type, patient demographics, procedure duration, and special needs (vendors, implants), to name a few. Assists Director of Surgical Services with maintaining monthly OR volume and data reports. Collects manual productivity data from Surgical Services Departments and submits them daily to Accounting. Provide direct access to referring physicians and patients for scheduling and provide support for the Radiology and OR staff. Performs various complex clerical tasks utilizing knowledge of office systems, procedures, facility policy and procedures and interdepartmental functions. Uses various Scheduling, PACS and EMR systems to perform daily functions.

Qualifications

Education Required: High School of Equivalent

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: Candidate must have one year, preferred two years, of surgical, perinatal, or Radiology scheduling experience. Candidate must also possess intimate knowledge of surgical/radiology/perinatal terminology and surgical/radiology/perinatal procedures. Computer skills (Microsoft Access, Office, Excel) preferred.

Pay Range: $19.50 - $23.50
