The Chemist will perform chemical analysis of customer plating bath samples for the purpose of controlling the performance of the electrolytic process. Perform chemical analysis of Atotech products to promote the production of product within company specifications and Suggest recommendations to the customer (internal & external) to bring chemistry, of both customer samples and manufactured batches to optimum formula.

We are looking for a talented Chemist I who can:

· Perform routine as well as special analysis and plating tests on customer bath samples.

· Perform quality control testing on Atotech products and RMs in accordance with documented specifications.

· Troubleshoot based upon analytical data and plating tests. Discuss results and recommendations with supervisor.

· Recommend action for adjusting descrepant products into specification.

· Operate calibrate and perform general maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.

· Supply general information and test results to field reps and customers.

· Observe safe lab practices and good housekeeping in performance of duties; understand hazards associated with work activities and abide by established procedures in handling and use of all chemicals.

· Responsible for the management of hazardous waste in accordance with all company and government regulations. This includes the minimization of all waste that is generated from all activities.

· Perform other related duties that may be assigned or associated with the responsibility of the position.

What you bring, along with your curiosity:

· Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field of science

· 2 years lab experience
