Job description

The Pickup and Delivery Driver's main responsibilities are timely, local deliveries and pickups to customers. The P&D Driver will stay within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal. Each driver is assigned a route/territory and will start the day with deliveries and end the day with pickups, usually 10-20 stops per day. Freight is primarily unloaded by the customer on the dock, but P&D Drivers could assist with the unload via pallet jack if the customer is unable to do so. The P&D Driver will operate only 48-53 foot dry van trailers.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday work week
• Home nightly
• No weekends
• Consistent year round hours (Average between 45-55/week depending on route)
• Similar start time daily around 9:30am
• Pay: starting at $31-33/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Overtime pay starts at 45 hours/week

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a Class A CDL
• Driving history of no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire
